Embracing Earth & Sky: A Daylong Workshop
2017 has become an intense year already, as the political climate in the US has become increasingly fraught with uncertainty.  More than ever before, progressive spiritual people are coming together to take a stand for positive change, committing to bring thoughts, words, and actions into service of the greater good, with the intention of creating lasting change that guarantees true equality, freedom, and justice for all people.  This is exhausting work, and it's easy to get discouraged, as many of us are open, caring, and empathic in nature.  It is so important to empower ourselves to keep going for the long road ahead, and to cultivate greater resiliency in mind, body, and spirit to hold us strongly in our values. Now, as always, it is important to enter into self-care regularly, and in community!

Please join us for this beautiful workshop, in which we nourish and expand ourselves through practices of body, mind, and spirit. We will go beyond just managing stress, and will truly step into the cultivation of an enduring resiliency that will support us for the journey ahead.  With a beautiful balance of movement and stillness, meditation and action, speaking and silence, this full day of practices and rituals will provide a sanctuary space for you to explore what you most need to flourish right now.

We will spend the day at the beautiful Rumi Wasi Sanctuary, located on a pristine mountaintop in Harpers Ferry, WV, which is just over an hour from the DC and Baltimore metro areas.  With acres of beautiful forest, as well as a stunning view of the Shenandoah Valley, this is an ideal place to release the intensity of city and suburban living, and to allow Mother Nature to recharge us fully.  If the weather is good, we will spend much of the day outside.
