ENTROPY: New Short Works-BYDESIGN 08
Each year, ByDesign showcases new work by innovative designers, directors and VJs from around the globe. This years survey features the Seattle premiere of over a dozen short films, including work by London-based animator Max Hattler, Brighton-based digital art group Semiconductor, Brazilian animator Guilherme Marcondes, Kansas City motion graphics dynamos MK12, and Portland duo Impactist. Ranging from lo-fi to high tech, from the ethereal to the downright silly, this sampling of inventive new shorts gives us a glimpse at the rapidly dissolving lines between design, art, film and music.
