| Description |
Proceeds from this event will be used to help put on the Great Places conference, to be held June 14 - 16, 2007 at the Seattle Center.
The Trash Fashion Bash is sure to sell out with models such as Sharon Coleman (Vulcan), Mimi Gates (Seattle Art Museum), Bert Gregory (Mithun), William Justen (Samis Development), Jim Potter (Kauri Investments), Peter Steinbruck (Seattle City Council), Diane Sugimura (Seattle Dept. of Planning and Development) and MANY OTHERS modeling their most glamorous haute trash.
All attire will be designed and created out of recycled and salvaged materials. Fashion design will be under the guidance of notorious haute trash fashion designer Rayona Visqueen, aka Robin Worley. Robin is a costume designer, a deconstructionist style fashion designer and performing artist who will combine her skills to bring you a stunning and unique fashion statement that comes with the guarantee that you will never look at your trash the same way again. Designers for this show will include a host of Haute Trash fashionistas from California and Seattle, aided and abetted by a collection of talented sustainable urban design specialists successfully applying themselves to fashion design.
There will be plenty of delicious food (not made from trash!). A special thanks to the Seattle Art Museum for providing the venue and assistance for this event, and to Habitude at the Locks for makeup and hair design.
Program 6:00 - 7:00: Social hour, with food and drinks in the Garden Court
7:00 - 8:30: Trash Fashion Show in the Auditorium
