From Stonewall to No Walls: Celebrating Generations of Pacific Center
Presented by Kaiser Permanente

With Performances by:
Kim Lembo
Irina Rivkin
Beryl & Nicole

And the premiere of a Pacific Center documentary by producer Stefano Gonzalez

On April 30, 2017 we will celebrate 44 years of breaking down barriers to affordable and culturally competent mental health services. As the oldest LGBTQ center in the Bay Area and 3rd oldest in the country, Pacific Center celebrates our generations of volunteers, staff, and community members.

We are proud to be your center!

In this moment when people who are on the margins continue to be under attack and walls threaten, we rise!  We rise individually. We rise collectively.

Pacific Center remains committed to providing culturally competent and compassionate mental health and peer support services to queer youth, adults, and older adults throughout Alameda County.

We expect a 30% increase in demand for our services for at least the next two years.  It is also likely that we will see deep cuts in the government contracts that make up 42% of our budget.  We continue to be concerned about further cuts to our underfunded youth program.

To paraphrase Cleve Jones, now is the time to shed the barriers of identity politics and build stronger networks of community.  It is also more important than ever to support organizations--like Pacific Center-that provide a safe space and are often the first place people turn to for resources, support, and community.

We continue to step up to meet the needs of our community; help us be there!
