Having exhausted himself and others by faking it all his life as, good son living according to the expectations of his conservative family in India, a nerdy graduate of The London School of Economics, a buttoned up corporate executive in blue chip companies, a flaming gay fashionista in NYC, an angry brown person horrified by being mistaken as a terrorist. He finally decided to overcome his neuroses, contradictions and demonic fears, to become a brutally honest stand up comedian who is not afraid of speaking the truth and putting himself on the line.Vidur will be taping a comedy special on Showtime called "Pauly-tics" with comedian Pauly Shore, He was most recently seen on CNN Newsroom with Carol Costello. He was recently a celebrity contestant on the notoriously popular Indian television show "Sach Ka Saamna" which is the Indian version of the US reality show "The Moment of Truth" where he fearlessly answered questions in a manner that was truly groundbreaking for India.Vidur has also been an immensely popular act on US college campuses and has performed at over 150 colleges pushing boundaries for South Asians and LGBT students. He was a finalist on "New York's Funniest Stand Up" as part of the New York Comedy Festival and on NBC's "Stand Up for Diversity" and has had several comedy specials on MTV Networks' LOGO Channel where he was also nominated for a NewNowNext Award. He has also been seen on television in several countries around the world.Vidur has also boldly made his presence felt internationally by touring India, South Africa, the Caribbean, the Mid-East, South America and Europe and is now ready to conquer the world by being outrageous and honest.
Saad Haroon is a standup comedian, improviser, director, scriptwriter and producer who created Pakistan's first improvisational comedy troupe, named Blackfish. Blackfish was hugely successful and performed for many years, also participating and representing Pakistan in Contacting the World, an international theatre festival in Manchester, England.
Saad went on to create Pakistan's first English language comedy show on television 'The Real News'. The show was a mix of Political and Social satire and was one of the first comedy shows in Pakistan to be shot in front of a live studio audience.
Side by side his successful television show,Saad produced his country's first standup comedy tour named Saad Haroon: Very live! The tour was also filmed and made into a television show, which included interviews with Pakistan's top comedians including Anwer Maqsood, Behroz Sabzwari, Faisal Qureshi and Bushra Ansari.
Since then Saad has trained and performed with two new improvisational comedy troupes 'Shark' and 'The Agency', which went on to perform long form improvisational comedy for the first time in Pakistan, and also bilingual and musical improvisational comedy for the first time in Pakistan.
In 2009, Saad released his second standup comedy show entitled "This is Stand-up comedy" and for the following two years he performed the show locally and internationally. He filmed this tour as well, interviewing international comedians such as Aasif Mandvi, Dean Obeidallah and Shazia Mirza and was released as a weekly web show.
Saad now frequently travels across the world, performing and collaborating with other artists. He has represented Pakistan in various events and festivals including 'Contacting the World' Professional Development Program, and the 'International Festival of Emerging Artists'. Saad recently finished a stand-up and improvisational comedy tour of 16 universities in Pakistan under the banner of Sprite's 'University of Freshology'. At the moment, he is working on a brand new standup comedy show and regularly teaches the art of improvisational comedy, does corporate shows, produces television and web content and has no idea what is around the corner!
