"LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE" HEALTH AND ARTS PROGRAM
L.A.S. Therapy Network and Development Group, Inc., Non-Profit Organization, "Laughter is the Best Medicine" Health and Arts Program, celebrates its 9th Annual December Gala at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel, 2025 Rosa L. Parks Blvd, Nashville, TN 37228, on December 28, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Come dressed in formal attire, bring your family & friends, then enjoy our catered reception featuring the Cremona Strings Ensemble Too, dance to the rhythms of Those Guys and That Girl Band, participate in health screenings, visit our visual arts exhibit, and more in specifically designed theaters, education halls, and/or vendors' areas for children and adults.  This event is free and open to the public in appropriate, formal dress.  A recommended $10.00 tax exempt donation is accepted at the event to support the activities.  

Our activities include, but are not limited to the following:

Children's Theater:  Master of Ceremony Juvenile Court Clerk David Smith, Shrine Circus Clowns featuring 'Mater Juice'; CSET NP string music; TSU Cultural Arts and Music Academy activities; Jerome Logan's artifacts and story-time; The Kristin Butke Irish Dancers; Nashville Chinese Music; gift raffle; and more.

Visual Arts Exhibit:  Artists Michael McBride, Ross Jordan, Sandy Spain, Joseph Love, Donna Hampton Lewis, and others display their unique paintings, sketches, water colors, sculpting, and other creations while educating guests who appreciate their exhibits.  Susan Peach provides photographic excellence to our event.

Adults' Theater:  Presenting NewsChannel5 Celebrities Lelan A. Statom and Tuwanda Coleman; NashvilleStandUp.com Comedians Leslie Nash and John Bowman; other performing artists; and gift raffle with silent auction.

Silent Auction:  Henig Furs has provided two [2] silent auction Mink Strollers.  To view these beautiful furs visit the Grace's Plaza Henig Furs location.  Online bids will get advertised soon.

Only animals to assist with handicap accessibility are admitted at the gala.
