Well and Septic Inspection Certification and Maintenance for Homeowners
Learn how to protect and maintain one of your most valuable assets. Get the experience you'll need to properly maintain your septic system and get certified to inspect your own system at home (only for gravity fed septic systems). This workshop will cover how to properly maintain your well and septic system to keep your drinking water safe, and to save you money by protecting investments made in your septic system. This workshop will cover:
o Detailed septic inspection instructions
o Well and septic maintenance tips
o Septic inspection certification test
o Free Coliform bacteria water test
Free well water testing for bacteria is available for workshop attendees. Samples must be submitted to the lab by Friday, November 9th in order to receive the free well water testing. Contact the Extension office for details.
This workshop is co-sponsored by WSU Clark County Extension and the Clark County Clean Water Program, with help from Clark County Public Health.
