The Symphony of Silence - Encore Screening
Another Open Door and Well Ced Productions are proud to present two encore screenings of our locally-produced short film, "The Symphony of Silence" on Saturday, November 3 at The Josephine Theater. We premiered to a sold-out crowd on September 29 and will screen again before heading out to film festivals around the country. The screenings will be at 2:00pm. and 7:30pm.
"The Symphony Of Silence" tells the story of 17 year-old writer Zach (Ben Carlee)struggles to survive in the 'dog eat dog' world of high school life. A high school life in which he is tormented by bullies. There is no chance of finding comfort in at home as one of the bullies happens to be his 18 year-old brother, Sean (Anthony Guajardo). In order to escape his bullies at school, he resorts to hiding in the restroom during his lunch breaks. In order to escape his brother, he retreats to writing. A bullying incident involving another student at school sets into motion a confrontation between Zach and the bullies that is nothing short of devastating. For every action has a reaction.
Also starring : George Cisneros, Veronica Orosco, Alyssa Bernal, Michael Maponga, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Duran Antonio, Jaeda Jones, Pamela Hardy, David DeLaO, Caleb Garcia, Angelita Aronce-Sorenson, Andrew Navarro, and Maxine Greco
Also screening will be other trailers and films from San Antonio area film makers.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS SOME LANGUAGE THAT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR KIDS. TICKETS AT THE BOX OFFICE ARE ON A CASH-ONLY BASIS.
