80th Candles Lunch

San Clemente, CA The Casino San Clemente extends a unique invitation to local citizens who will be turning 80 years old this year (2017) to join the Casino in an historical luncheon in celebration of its 80th year as the entertainment icon of North Beach on Sunday, February 26 at Noon. What better way to start our yearlong celebration than to have other 80 year olds join in a happy gathering of food and music! We will be honored with their presence! states owner, Linda Sadeghi. Venue Manager, Jill Watson, adds: So many sparkling guests of 80 or more years have attended our recent jazz series, Im sure it will not be a sleepy event by any means!

Birthday guests will be served lunch free of charge (including birthday cupcake) courtesy of renown caterer, California Fresh, (friends and family at nominal charge $15/each.) Former Casino San Clemente performers and Hollywood stars Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney will be available for photo opportunities (albeit via cardboard stand-ins). In its grand tradition of entertainment, live music will be provided during the luncheon and personal birthday greetings from the mic can be arranged in advance. A group photo on the Casino front steps will be added to the Casinos own History Hall to mark the occasion.
