The Barber of Seville
Give your Valentine the gift of beauty and laughter for Valentine's Day week. Four performances of Rossini's masterpiece "The Barber of Seville" (Il barbiere di Siviglia), are being presented by Los Angeles Metropolitan Opera February 18th through 25th, 2017 at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Santa Monica, California. It is a comic romp about two lovers' quest to marry along with the help from the go-to town barber, in spite of fierce opposition of a highly motivated and very powerful rival.
