From artists, to mothers, to fighters, this program explores the stories of strong-minded women. Natsanat' (Freedom) documents the heroic stories of young female freedom fighters in Ethiopia. Mother Art Tells a Story is documentary recounting the experience of a collective of young women artists in the 1970s, who came together to support the radical notion that being mothers and artists were not mutually exclusive. On a lighter note, The Gaskettes tells the story of an all-woman moped crew that loves gold jackets and whiskey.
