Dolce Dream's Quinceañera! A Burlesque and Variety Show, Benefitting the YWCA of Austin
You are cordially invited to Dolces Quinceañera, a celebration of the diverse people and cultures that Austin has the privilege of being home!
Dolce's not really turning 15 this year, and it's definitely an a-typical quince.
Hosts Jade Esteban Estrada and Aura Vega will bring you some of the finest in burlesque, drag, aerial, and pole performers. Performances by Chola Magnolia, Alexander the Great, Kiki Maroon, Gemmi Galactic, Nina Josephine, Lulu Lovegood, Sherry Bomb, Papi Churro, Fifi Switchblade, Berkeley Feltwell, and many many more!
What Quinceanera would be complete without piñatas, a mariachi band, and the royal court or honor? To make this party extra special, all profits of the show will be benefitting the YWCA- Austin chapter!
This year YWCA Greater Austin celebrates its 110th anniversary. Since its founding, YWCA members have been #NewRadicals: they have made history through courage, connection and change.
The YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. We are thus delighted to join and support their work to amplify the concerns of all marginalized groups including immigrants, refugees, religious minorities, LGBTQ/GNC people, and people with disabilities and to oppose policies and halt initiatives that may harm or oppress women, girls, and communities of color.
