185 Seconds

A basement, bunker, cellar, etc. A sad-looking houseplant and a cheesy projected backdrop set the scene. Flanked by televisions, Vicky, our brassy hostess, welcomes you to 185 Seconds: a live public-access performance inspired by the 1970s television show Stairway to Stardom and David Lynch's episodic series The Rabbits. The house band, Pineapple Cruz, provides live accompaniment to the show as Vicky, her sister Bunny and her brother Carl introduce us to a bizarre series of public access guests including a chef/sex therapist, an Evangelical Tai Chi Master, and a host of local talent acts.

EPISODE 2 (Nov 2nd is POSTPONED due to Sandy) - AMERICAN CRAFTSPEOPLE
Our cast kicks off the season with a tribute to American Craftspeople everywhere. Bunny decorates a cake for Vicky's birthday, and the result is Wow. Local talent will burst this birthday into flames.

EPISODE 3 (Nov 9th) - TOP TEN COUNTDOWN
Unforgettable numbers for the biggest American on-screen heros- and our brother, Carl. Come, count from ten to one, and rock out to starlit music and talent from your own backyard.

EPISODE 4 (Nov 16th) - LOVE. MAKING
Carl's looking a little lonely, so let's find him a new friend, shall we? A host of beautiful talented women will parade the stage to prove themselves dateworthy. Applause, acclamation!
