CityDance Summer Intensive Audition
Spend six dynamic weeks studying with directors and artists from Dance Theatre of Harlem (June 19-June 30) and Koresh Dance Company (July 5-July 14), award-winning international choreographers Vladimir Angelov, Alex Neoral of Focus cia de Dança and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa (July 17-July 28), CityDance's master Vaganova teachers Stanislav Issaev and Ludmila Morkovina and CityDance's esteemed contemporary faculty Sarah J. Ewing and Robert J. Priore.
Intensives are ideal for dancers ages 9-19 interested in a challenging exploration of classical and contemporary training with daily classes in ballet, pointe, pas de deux, modern, contemporary, jazz, and African. Other activities may include masterclasses with guest artists, choreography workshops, and participation in culminating performances.
Led by Artistic Director Lorraine Spiegler, CityDance prepares young dancers for 21st century careers with specialized training, rich performance opportunities, and strong connections to the professional dance world.
We do allow for walkups, but online registration is encouraged and will make the audition process more seamless.

DRESS CODE
Please bring a headshot and a full-body shot. These do not need to be professionally-done photos. Photos taken on phones are more than welcome!
Female: leotard, pink or skin-tone ballet tights, pink or skin-tone ballet shoes with elastic straps
Male: fitted black or white t-shirt or tank, men's tights, black, white, or skin-tone ballet shoes
