A crostata is the easy home made dessert for which one never has to run to the store. After having learnt to make a foolproof pasta frolla, Italian pastry crust, the students will share in my mother's secrets to cleaning out her pantry of jams leftovers, overripe fruit and various confections to make unforgettable tarts.
