Jody Espina and the Camel City Jazz Orchestra- City of the Arts Jazz Festival 2017
The City of the Arts Jazz Festival is at Reagan High School in Pfafftown, NC and is an educational festival that features up to 15 school jazz ensembles, a headliner, and is held in conjunction with the Northwest District Bandmasters Solo and Ensemble Festival.
Jody Espina is the founder, president and designer of JodyJazz Saxophone & Clarinet Mouthpieces. He is a highly regarded Jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, and flutist with a unique and personal sound and is also a respected Jazz educator.
The Camel City Jazz Orchestra was founded in January 2012 to perform and cultivate jazz music in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina and to serve as the communitys own professional big band. The organization is dedicated to developing a promoting a vibrant jazz culture in Winston-Salem through performances and educational programs.
The Festival is sponsored by Separk Music and Vulcan Materials.
