Presented by Alumni Theater Company.
This evening will include an I AM ARTIST cabaret reception, a showcase of student choreographed dance pieces, and the one act play "Dog Sees God" directed by ATC alum Michaelangelo Turner. "Dog Sees God" imagines characters from the comic strip Peanuts as teenagers. Drug use, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion and sexual identity collide and careen toward an ending that's both haunting and hopeful. This show is appropriate for patrons 15 and up.
ATC ARTIST SHOWCASE is presented as part of the I AM ARTIST 2012 Performance Series. I AM ARTIST is an annual performance series presented by the Alumni Theater Company (ATC). ATC's work represents the artistic voice of today's urban teen.
