Normally we hold off until the end of the festival to announce the recipient of our annual CineKink Tribute, an award that recognizes "the extraordinary depiction of kink in mainstream film and television." But this go-round the first choice was so obvious, we figured we might as well jump in right away with the accolades!

With humor, compassion and a frank approach, explores the lives of several characters as they navigate the comic and tragic intersections between sex and love. A sex therapist who has never had an orgasm, a dominatrix who is unable to connect, a gay couple who are deciding whether to open up their relationship, and the people who weave in and out of their lives, all converge on a weekly gathering at an underground salon - a joyful nexus of art, music, politics and polysexual carnality.
