Habitat Interfaith Alliance featuring an evening with Joe Black
Habitat Interfaith Alliance of Metro Denver is hosting a fundraising event featuring the music of Rabbi Joe Black. The event will take place at the Mercury Café, 2199 California Street, Denver 80205. Starting at 6:30 - 9:00 pm March 18. All ages welcome. Rabbi Joe Black is a nationally recognized musician. He is known for his guitar virtuosity, soaring voice and lyrics that are at the same time, funny, inspirational and thought provoking. His music is an extension of his rabbinate. He serves as Senior Rabbi at Temple Emanuel in Denver, Colorado-a position he has held since 2011. Joe has performed for communities of all faiths around the world. His recordings and books have received accolades from sources as diverse as The New York Times, Haddasah Magazine, Parent's Choice, The American Library Journal for Kids First: The Coalition for Quality Children's Video. His poetry and prose has been published widely.
