Shades of Poe
This intimate performance uses the works of Edgar Allan Poe to tell the story of 6 spirits whose tragedies in life keep them from moving on in death. "Shades of Poe" is presented as a house tour using the different rooms as different settings for the stories. Instead of the audience remaining stationary while the actors move on and off a stage, the audience moves throughout the 19th century farmhouse to hear complete tellings of Poe's spookiest works: The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Imp of the Perverse, Berenice, and the Cask of Amontillado. This year, we have added one more amazing tale: The Black Cat. And all is hosted by the master of terror himself: Edgar Allan Poe.
This performance involves standing, walking, climbing stairs, and moving through dimly lit areas. Recommended ages: 12 and up.
**Storm Information** We are not cancelling performances due to the impending storm, yet. If performances need to be cancelled due to inclement weather, ticket holders will receive an e-mail with the date the show has been rescheduled to.
