Boombox Kids (2011 INNY nominees for Best Musical Improv Group) blends rock, folk, musical theatre, and rap creating scenes and musicals on the fly based on audience suggestion. Known for their "GLEE-ful" sound, Boombox Kids brings their musical theatre background to the improv world creating hilarious improv with kick-ass vocals! Nothing is written down, nothing to be repeated again. All stories, plots, lyrics, and scoring is made up on the spot!

Choral Rage
Belonging to one of the Magnet Theater's maiden voyage Musical Megawatt Teams, Choral Rage takes you on an out off this world musical journey into the depths of your imagination. Through their masterful harmonies and comedic colloquy, they create an entire musical based on the suggestion of a location.

Mikki Hommel
The siren of New York's Lower East Side, a soulful singer-songwriter whose voice has been captivating audiences in Alphabet City since 2009. Mikki's improvised songs show off her quick wit and sharp tongue. Charming the crowds with songs created from just a few audience suggestions, Mikki has showcased her music improv at venues including The Village Lantern, Karma Lounge, Rearview Comedy, The New York Comedy Club, The Broadway Comedy Club

FACE
Inspired by a suggestion from the audience, our four piece jazz band creates a musical score never heard before and never heard again. Although deemed a jazz band, the music can take on many genres, depending on the suggestion.This music will in turn inspire our five actors to create scenes forming a narrative. Running between 30 to 50 minutes (depending on venue preferences), no show is like another; not only from the very nature of improv, but also from the various backgrounds of our players.

MUSICAL INSPIRADO featuring Legend, Atticus, Mind Condition & The Montells
Inspirado is the only improv competition in the world. Two teams randomly choose a challenge, then they compete. The audience votes on the winner. Challenges inspire. Inspiration leads to innovation. Innovation saves the world. Inspirado just saved the world.
