Dinner and a Dance: Scotty and the Big Dogs
Scotty & The Bigdogs is a seven piece rock/blues band with a three man horn section, playing a rompin', stompin' mix of tunes by Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, T Bone Walker, Van Morrison, Elvis, The Beatles, and countless others. Lead by trumpet man Scott Davis, the band is populated by a who's who of Maine musicians, and rocks the house wherever they play. The horn section puts this band head and shoulders above rock bands without, with a phat, brassy sound along the lines of Blood Sweat and Tears, Tower of Power, Chicago, and other horn bands. Missing this band is never a good idea.
