In what might be Nigro's wildest, funniest and most ambitious dramatic epic yet, Nelly Bly fights her way onto Mr Pulitzer's New York Journal and into American legend as the greatest female reporter in history. This ambitious surreal adventure takes us through an American wonderland peopled by Joseph Pulitzer, William Randolph Hearst, Teddy Roosevelt, Emma Goldman, Captain Nemo, a Barbary Ape and Jules Verne, among others.
Nelly's adventure is America's adventure in the late 19th and early 20th century, and her coming of age is America's, as her boundless optimism and enthusiasm comes face to face with the nightmare of the twentieth century.
