The Jungle Book
Just So, Mr. Kipling - THE JUNGLE BOOK
Step into Rudyard Kipling's world and let your imagination soar as you connect with the playful cast of characters roaming the jungles of India and meet the individuals who influenced Kipling's family on the home front of England during WWI. This beautiful ensemble drama will entertain audiences of all ages with its timeless appeal. Celebrated author Kipling is shocked upon receiving news that his only son John is missing in action in WWI. Kipling bottles his grief, throwing his focus into writing a new book. Suddenly, he is interrupted by a mysterious young girl named Priyam. Charmed by her innocence, he shares his famous story The Jungle Book with her. As the tale of Mowgli springs to life, Kipling's own memories of John's journey into the Great War start to intertwine with Mowgli's many adventures.
Theater-goers old and young will revel in the antics of familiar jungle animals including Baloo, Bagheera, Akela & Kaa and be drawn into Mowgli's kidnapping and rescue, his encounters with the man village and his final confrontation with Shere Khan.
