Do you really want to know the basics of Long Form Improvisation?. The ideas of being in the moment, connected with your scene partners building a scene and strong characters and environment?
Tired of being taught Deconstruction that leads to Nothing? Seen enough "Inside Jokes" passing as "Truth in Comedy"? Tired of performing improvisational theater where it just might as well be standup comedy with six people?
Would you like to be in a class that will give you straight critique instead of passive advice in a passive aggressive "Supportive Environment"

This class is a three hour intensive on the basics of Long Form Improvisation which will cover the basics of: Classic Harold, Deconstruction, Montages, Armando and all theatrical based Long form Formats in between. A great starter class passed down first hand from Mr. Close.
Shaun Landry is artistic Director of Oui Be Negroes and Founder/Producer of the SFIA and The San Francisco Improv Festival. She has trained and performed in the Touring Company of The Second City Chicago. She is on the Artistic Associates board of The Chicago Improv Festival. She has also been seen performing with Landry and Bodden, Storytellers Unplugged, Un-Scripted Theater and with The Irish Mutts at IOwest Los Angeles. Her writings can be found at www.redroom.com along with the works of Maya Angelou, Salmon Rushdie, and many others.
