You're invited to attend our complimentary Community Meeting with Guest Speaker: John Burroughs High School Economics teacher Jan Rhodes.
Ms. Rhodes will be sharing the impact and stories regarding a collaborative arts integration project, funded by the Foundation, called "Empowering Economic Decision-making through Art!" where economics students were instructed to represent the National Voluntary Standards in Economics through poster art inspired by Shephard Fairey's artwork.
We will also being working on our action plan and hear from Chairs of our Schools Outreach & Engagement, Specialized Community Group and Legislative subcommittees.
Meetings are open to Burbank parents, residents, businesses and community leaders who are interested in our plan to support arts education in Burbank's public schools!
