Kalu Rinpoche in Vancouver 2017 6 Arm Mahakala Empowerment
*On-line sales have ended. Tickets will be sold at the door*
With joyful anticipation, we are pleased to welcome His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche back to Vancouver. Rinpoche is the lineage holder of the glorious Shangpa Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
For the first time since previous Khyabje Kalu Rinpoche hosted the last seminar at Kunzang Dechen Osel Ling (KDOL) Retreat Centre in 1982, Rinpoche will be leading intensive study and practice seminars at KDOL, on Salt Spring Island, and in Vancouver, B.C.
This is a very precious opportunity to receive empowerments and teachings from Rinpoche, and to spend an extended period with him in daily seminars and practices in Vancouver, Canada.
Saturday, April 8: Mahakala Empowerment 1:30 p.m.
The swift-acting, 6-armed Awareness Protector 6 Arm Mahakala, is the special protector of the Shangpa Kagyu tradition. As the wrathful emanation of Chenrezig, the Wisdom Protector protects the dharma and dharma practitioners by dispelling their obstacles, obscurations and disturbing emotions.
* Doors open at 1:00 p.m.
* Cost: $20 suggested donation
