Directions and Shuttle Instructions
Parking is strictly prohibited at Hillside Gardens. Savory Thymes kindly requests that all guests use the complementary shuttle. Guests will be shuttled from the parking lot at Mill Valley Middle School to Hillside Gardens (a 5 minute ride). Shuttle service will start at 5:40pm. Mill Valley Middle School is located at 425 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA 94941.
Hillside Gardens is an outside venue; we strongly recommend that you wear warm clothes for eating outside and comfortable shoes for outdoor terrain.

From the East Bay: Take the San Rafael Bridge to Sir Francis Drake/101 South exit. Go through Larkspur Landing and onto 101 South. Get off at the East Blithedale Tiburon exit. Right onto East Blithedale. Take East Blithedale to the 2nd light at Camino Alto. Turn left on Camino Alto. Proceed to first light (Sycamore). Turn left on Sycamore. Drive to the end of the street; parking lot on left.
From Santa Rosa (North): Take 101 South and exit at East Blithedale. Right onto East Blithedale.Take East Blithedale to the 2nd light at Camino Alto.Turn left on Camino Alto. Proceed to first light (Sycamore).Turn left on Sycamore.Drive to the end of the street; parking lot on left
From San Francisco: Take 101 North and exit at the East Blithedale exit. Left onto East Blithedale. Take East Blithedale to the 2nd light at Camino Alto. Turn left on Camino Alto. Proceed to first light (Sycamore). Turn left on Sycamore. Drive to the end of the street; parking lot on left.
Walking to Hillside Gardens from Downtown Mill Valley: If you would like to walk up to Hillside Gardens from downtown Mill Valley it is a short 10 minute walk up the hill. Park downtown in a non-metered spot. Walk up the stairs behind our lady of Mt Carmel Church 3 Oakdale Avenue. At the top of the stairs turn right about 30 feet and look for the next set of stairs on the left side of the road. Walk up the stairs and at the top of the stairs make a left. Hillside Gardens is about 10 feet on the left side of the road you will see the yellow flag at the end of the driveway.
