Join the Calumet Wolverines Senior "A" Hockey Club for another season of hard-hitting fast-paced hockey at the Calumet Colosseum.
The Wolverines participate in the Great Lakes Hockey League, the only full-check adult amateur hockey league in the United States. Teams from as far south as Vernon Hills, Illinois and as far west as the Madison Blues visit the Copper Country for some old-time hockey.
On Saturday, Dec. 8 the Wolverines welcome to town the Brookfield Battalion. The Battalion are from a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with happy hour upstairs in the McCabe Distributing Wolverines Beer Den, where delicious McCabe products such as LaBatt and Old Milwaukee will be sold for $1. Puck will drop at 7:30 p.m.
