"the group's recently released self-titled first album features nimble playing and skilled arrangements that convey a great enthusiasm for traditional Irish music." - The Irish Echo
Uilleann piper Joey Abarta has spent the past decade touring nearly nonstop in North America, Europe, and Asia, teaching and performing music on the uilleann pipes. He first received instruction on the pipes from the renowned Dublin piper Pat D'Arcy. Abarta's musical skills have been further honed during travel to Ireland and Japan and continuing relationships with master pipers. In August of 2009, Joey won the prestigious All-Ireland championship, placing second worldwide at the Fleadh Cheoil na Eireann.
