"Where Rumba meets Raga." Anjuman is an Indian/Afro-Cuban Ensemble. Anjuman has found a unique and uncompromised way of combining North Indian Classical music with the rhythmic vitality of Afro-Cuban drumming.
Featuring renowned sitarist Sri Neeraj Prem with special guest, kathak/salsa dancer, Archana Kumar. Anjuman is Brandon McIntosh (sarod), Seth Littlefield (drums), Phil Georges (bass).
Neeraj Prem is a disciple of Sujhat Khan and Brandon McIntosh is a disciple of Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta.
This is a CD realease party/performance and all are welcome. Their newly released CD will be available at the show! Be the first ones to get it.
