Magic Chef Mansion Monthly Saturday Tours
Magic Chef Mansion Monthly Saturday Tours are self guided from 2 to 5 pm. These tours are on the first Saturday of the month April through November. This 12,000 square foot mansion was built in 1908 for Charles Stockstrom who founded The Magic Chef/Quick Meal Stove Company. This tour is of the first floor, second floor and the basement which features the original single lane bowling alley and prohibition saloon. Take a step back in time to admire the 1908 restoration which includes original woodwork, lighting and period/original furnishings. The kitchen showcases a working 1935 6 burner Magic Chef Stove.
The tour typically takes about 1 hour.
Beer and wine are available for purchase during the tour.
