You Glow! DIY Body Care Workshop Series for Teens
Taking care of our bodies is so important!
In this hands on workshop series, young people will learn the importance of self care and how to make lip balm, body butter, a sugar scrub, bath bombs and more. Students will go home with recipes and their own creations that they can personalize with essential oils and their own labels.
We'll also create herbal teas for relaxation, learn about meditation and gratitude journaling and explore wholistic wellness in a safe and fun environment.
Body care ingredients are natural and safe for young people to work with.
This workshop series is for students 10+.
Classes are on Wednesdays from 4:30-6pm at Sugar Beet Schoolhouse 349 Ashland in River Forest.
All materials and recipes will be provided. We'll be using Shea and Coconut oils in many recipes.
