Rhiannon Giddens' first solo album, Tomorrow is My Turn (2015), a collaboration with T Bone Burnett, incorporated folk, jazz, gospel and the blues. Her pedigree- member of the Grammy-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops ("Hit 'em Up Style"), degree from Oberlin Conservatory, a standing ovation at New York's Town Hall- is impeccable.
