"Racing to the Finish for the Real Lt. Dan's". We are proud to be working with the Gary Sinise Foundation that does important work honoring and serving our nation's defenders, veterans, first responders, their families and those in need. The foundation creates unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen and build communities; whether it be through building a Smart Home for a wounded veteran, contributing to the TAPS emergency relief fund for families of the fallen, providing meals for deploying and returning troops at USO @ LAX, providing scholarship funding for veterans and their families, donating two Lt. Dan Vans dedicated to transporting first responders to and from medical facilities in times of need, or the Lt. Dan Band performing in communities and military bases across the country.
The race will start at the Libby Bowl in Ojai at 8 a.m. with a 10k, 5k, and a 1-mile fun run. We are looking for a military presence to run the race with supporters and families joining the troops to show their support.
The race will kick off the day to be followed by a Music Festival & Benefit Concert. The Music Festival , "Rock This Country" will feature live music, food, drinks, and activities.
