Inglish & Louise in Concert
The Gabrielle Louise Show introduces the progressive folk duo INGLISH & LOUISE.

Inglish & Louise is a progressive folk act comprised of Erin Inglish - singer, banjo player, songwriter and California Central Coast native - and Gabrielle Louise - guitar player, singer, and songwriter based out of Colorado. Over the years they have nurtured and maintained independent careers - and are now coming together to present a strong double-bill show that is verging and emerging into a female folk duo.

Meet Inglish & Louise:
ERIN INGLISH is a banjo player, singer, songwriter, artist, and engineer based out of San Luis Obispo, CA. Often inspired by her work as an eco-conscious engineer and her world travels, Erin writes and performs thoughtful, compelling music. Her personal and professional life is dedicated to sustainability causes, and this is evident in the mindful messages in her songwriting and performing.

Erin is a consummate solo artist, and also performs with Central Coast crooner Jody Mulgrew as Heartbreak Hill, with her "bluesgrass" band, Chuck Johnson Spur; and recently with Colorado singer-songwriter Gabrielle Louise. A powerful singer and solid banjo picker, Erin's music is an appetizing blend of sentient tenderness and charismatic vitality. (More information at www.erininglish.com)

GABRIELLE LOUISE is a nationally touring troubadour noted for her poignant lyrics and lush voice. The daughter of two vagabond musicians, Gabrielle inherited the genetic predisposition to wanderlust and song.

Gabrielle Louise's music is anchored deeply in folk, but undeniably drawn to rich harmonies and melodic adventurism. Her sound has the earthy feel of early Joni Mitchell while also veering into the spirited delivery of fellow genre-hopping artist Martin Sexton.

Unafraid to take a random musical escapade in the name of inspiration, Gabrielle is at one moment folkie and ethereal, the next moment a smoky jazz chanteuse. More soul than special effect, she gently entices her listener to release their grip on the status quo. (More information at www.gabriellelouise.com)
