John Hay Grades K-2 Outdoor Wilderness Winter 2017
Outdoor Wilderness will be a blast learning through adventure! For our K-2 session, we'll work towards learning lots and lots of skills through games and activities: like making our own shelters from natural materials, tarps and more, navigating around our own John Hay wilderness, collecting water, using a compass, and lots and lots of team building activities. All our activities will be a combination of energetic games, team activities, leadership opportunities, and self-reliance. We have great activities for all weather, and shelters to stay out of the weather if it rains. Even so, we will be outside so a raincoat and warm layers are beyond recommended!
