Joe Leo and Misfit Magic are pleased to announce that we will be conducting our spellbinding Evenings of Ghostly Delights at the Historic McGarrah's Stagecoach Inn in Monroe, NY on Friday and Saturday evenings from September 28th through November 3rd, 2012. A typical evening may include pendulum scrying, Victorian glass reading and traditional séances using relics from the 18th century through the inventions of Tesla, an exploration of the inn and introductions to its ghostly residents, and demonstrations of mysterious manifestations unique to this spectacular site. We don't know what will happen, with or to whom, but no two showsno, Experiences!... will be alike!

In its nearly two and a quarter centuries of existence, McGarrah's Inn, now owned and operated by the Cornerstone Masonic Historical Society, has hosted trials and travelers during the Revolutionary War, served as an asylum, was home to local dignitaries including a prosecuting Attorney for the Nuremburg Trials, and contains the oldest Masonic lodge room still in use in New York State.

Now, don't think us too haughty when we suggest that bringing mystery to this place shouldn't be too hard for us because this site is already one of the best-documented haunted destinations in the Hudson Valley. Its spectral activity has been referenced on the SyFy Channel's "Ghost Hunter" television show and was featured in "Ghost Investigator Volume 6 (Dark Shadows)" by the well-known paranormal author Linda Zimmermann. Prominent research teams from Boca Paranormal, Simply Paranormal, United States Paranormal and more than a dozen others have investigated the inn. Regularly scheduled tours and investigations routinely sell out well in advance but this is your opportunity to spend an evening with us in this unique and unusual location.

Please note that while the inn IS haunted (as you may learn!), this is NOT a 'haunted house' attraction. No zombies or dancing skeletons, and nobody will leap out from the closets. This is a serious exploration of what lies beyond the veils.

The program may be too intense for children under twelve. Group discounts are available and light seasonal refreshments will be served.
