OPENING NIGHT: COMEDIAN CAROL LIEFER
with Special Guest, Adam Grabowski
Carol Liefer is a sought-after comedy writer and producer who has written for such shows as Saturday Night Live, Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show and the Emmy-award winning Modern Family. She was most recently a head writer for the 2012 Academy Awards hosted by Billy Crystal, and has appeared on such shows as The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, Late Night with David Letterman, Larry King Live and The Howard Stern Show. Carol draws on her natural gifts as a storyteller to weave an interconnected tale that touches on such topics as her Jewish upbringing, her experiences as a woman in the male-dominated entertainment industry, and her coming out as a lesbian at the age of 40. She will present on her recently published How To Succeed In Business Without Really Crying and also perform stand-up.
2015 APCA Comic of the Year Adam Grabowski has performed at over 500 colleges! In addition to headlining in 45 States, Adam wowed the judges on America's Got Talent with his comedy. Simon Cowell called Adam "the funniest one" in the entire competition. He's been voted the nation's top college touring comedian 4 years in a row. Born and raised in Chicago, Adam now lives in LA.... although he technically lives out of his suitcase for more than 200 days a year. Adam's interactive, ever-evolving progressive form of stand-up comedy has been showcased in hundreds of clubs, theaters, and private venues across the country. Adam is the founder of the #SAYITANYWAY campaign for depression and anxiety awareness. Recommended for 16+.
