At Tippet Rise, we take great pride in offering uniquely intimate concert settings for audiences of fewer than 150 people. To facilitate this vision and allow as many people as possible to experience music at Tippet Rise, each household is limited to 4 tickets per concert for up to a total of 6 concerts for the 2017 Season.
The music critic Geoffrey Norris of England's Daily Telegraph described pianist Yevgeny Sudbin and cellist Alexander Chaushian in concert together as "two talents in glorious harmony." The two join forces at Tippet Rise in a colossal program of cello and piano sonatas from the Romantic era by Alexander Borodin, Cesar Franck, and Frédéric Chopin. Works include Borodin's Sonata for Cello and Piano in B minor and Chopin's Sonata for Cello and Piano in G minor, Op. 65.
