Classical Concert Series 2017 - 6-ticket Pass
Valid for admission to 6 shows in our 2017 Classical Concert Series season. This flexible pass allows you to use your pass for 1 admission to 6 shows, for 2 admissions to 3 shows, etc. throughout the year. An incredible pass to compelling shows, in the intimacy of a Victorian music parlour. Please note that to secure a seat at any given concert, you must reserve a spot a minimum of 48 hours before the show by calling 604-684-7040, or sending an email to: info@roeddehouse.org
2017 Second Sunday Series Concert Preview:
-*January 15, 2017, 4pm: Sleep and Dreams with harpist Tegan Peemoeller and soprano Catherine Laub
Australian harpist Tegan Peemoeller makes her first appearance on the series with an all English program exploring different textures of the night through music.
This will be a fun and kid-friendly concert where the audience is invited to wear pyjamas and hot chocolate will be served.
-February 12 2017, 4pm: Tales of Love in Seven Languages with mezzo-soprano Martina Govednik
Serbian mezzo soprano Martina Govednik lends her linguistic flair and her darkly potent voice to a special Valentines Day concert.
-March 12, 2017, 4pm: Duo concert with saxophonist Colin MacDonald and cellist Stefan Hintersteininger
This is the first time weve had saxophone on the series, and Im very excited to hear what these two expert chamber musicians present.
*The January concert will take place on the third Sunday of the month.
About the Second Sunday Concert Series:
This concert is part of a monthly concert series, taking place on the 2nd Sunday of each month, in the afternoon. Come at 1pm, for Tea and Tour before the concert (included in the price of the ticket), or show up right before 4pm for the concert, at your convenience.
*****PARKING******:
Options include the parking lot at the Empire Landmark Hotel (Robson & Broughton) or street parking on Robson and in the West End.
Parking spots are scarce in the neighbourhood, so give yourself some extra time or use public transportation. (Closest Skytrain station: Burrard. We are on the #5 Robson bus route)
