Marrow Coulant - A Dance Narrative
Rush Studio of Dance in Edwardsville, IL proudly presents its debut production as a dance company "Marrow Coulant", a series of vignettes that tell the stories of stroke and heart attack survivors. RSD is partnering with Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL and local heart disease survivors to shed light on the stories of personal experience from one of the most important health epidemics of our time.
"Marrow Coulant" is not just a show for exposition, but a stand for community and awareness. RSD is committed to active involvement in the local and national community as an agent for art with a purpose, and that dance is a powerful tool for telling the narratives of the people distinctly intertwined with today's relevent socio-economic issues. "Marrow Coulant" is presented for the sole purpose of connecting the public with local and national organizations in cardiac health and stroke awareness.
