CapraCare hosts 7th Annual Show Your Love for Haiti Fundraiser
in support of Hurricane Matthew Recovery Efforts in Haiti
NEW YORK, NY (January 14, 2017) -- CapraCare, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that addresses the health challenges faced by the residents of Les Cayes, Fonfrede, Haiti, invites families, community leaders, local officials, charity enthusiasts, humanitarians, students, media and other organizations to attend its 7th annual Show Your Love for Haiti fundraiser-- to primarily raise funds for CapraCares Hurricane Matthew Recovery Efforts in Les Cayes, Fonfrede, Haiti.
The Hurricane Matthew Recovery Efforts are much needed as victims of the Haiti disaster were left devastated with scarce resources and infrastructure to support the recovery process. All proceeds from the event will benefit Hurricane Matthew Recovery Efforts. The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Impact Hub NYC, 394 Broadway, New York, NY 10013 from 6pm 10pm with program starting promptly at 7pm.
Promoting health change through individual acts of courage reflects in our mission, said Jean Pierre-Louis, Founder and CEO of CapraCare. With your help and donations, we can continue to provide medical care and preventive health services to the people of Fonfrede, Haiti.
Show Your Love for Haiti debuted in 2010 shortly following the devastating Haiti earthquake on January 12th to commemorate the families affected by such tragedy. The 2017 fundraising event will pay tribute to those who lost their lives with the Reading of the Names and will honor stellar members of the New York community for their acclaimed work and unwavering dedication to improving opportunities for Haitians living in Haiti.
Show Your Love for Haiti will honor & celebrate the work of some influential individuals whose courage and dedication inspires and challenge us all to continue helping make Haiti better.
