A German tourist on the Canary Islands discovers a group of African refugees held in detention by the local police. Her concern with their plight leads to her helping one of the refugees and his young son. Will her supposedly humanitarian act have a positive outcome? The film's provocative story explores the notion of cultural exclusion, acceptance of refugees, tolerance, and social policies on immigration.
