The Goat Farm Presents: The Collective Project Inc.'s "The Devil Tree"
The Goat Farm Presents:
"Let me tell you the story my grandfather told me..."
Welcome to Laurel County, a stretch of southern Georgia with roots deeper than most places. Found in the deep recesses of Laurel's dark woods is one oak tree whose roots run deep enough to affect the whole countyand everyone in it. Locals recount and relive stories that have been passed down through the generations and new tales rear their heads: encounters with ghosts, unnatural possessions, and even a few run-ins with Ol' Slick himself.
Adapted from original short stories by 8 Atlanta authors and featuring an all-Atlanta cast, The Devil Tree offers a world uniquely Southern and gut-wrenching. Once you discover the terrible truth behind Laurel County, you'll never be the same again.
Come experience the October 2012 world premiere of the Collective's Project's new play: "The Devil Tree."
--- All performances at the Rodriguez Room at the Goat Farm Arts Center. Free parking!
