Produced by fiddler Oisín Mac Diarmada of award-winning lrish group Téada, the hugely popular Irish Christmas in America show features top Irish musicians, singers and dancers in an engaging performance rich in history, humor and boundless energy.

This family-friendly performance features evocatively sung Irish ballads and holiday carols, lively fiddle tunes and thrilling Irish dancing. Narration brings to life ancient customs and stories, while evocative photographic images provide a backdrop of rich historical context. Take a memorable glimpse into the enchanting spirit of Christmas, as some of Irelands finest traditional artists bring you on a distinctively Irish journey during the holiday season.

Included in this years lineup are:

Niamh Farrell  vocals
Niamh Farrell, a talented young singer from Sligo, came to attention in 2014 during a 10-month world tour with English singer-songwriting star David Gray.

Séamus Begley  vocals/accordion
Séamus Begley comes from the Irish-speaking region of West Kerry and is a member of one of Irelands most musically-acclaimed families.  Famous for his heartfelt singing, Séamus is equally brilliant on the accordion, belting out jigs, slides and polkas with rapid sprays of ornamentation. Séamus was awarded the prestigious TG4 Traditional Singer of the Year award in 2013.

Gráinne Hambly  Irish harp/concertina
Gráinne Hambly from County Mayo in the West of Ireland is an internationally recognized exponent of the Irish harp.

Samantha Harvey   dance/piano
Samantha Harvey is an award-winning step dancer, pianist and accordionist.

Sean Gavin   flute/uilleann pipes
Sean Gavins ornate and driving style on the flute and uilleann pipes reflects his lifelong immersion in traditional Irish music. He is a member of the groups Bua and NicGaviskey, and often performs with his family.
