A Taste of New Nordic
Join us for A Taste of New Nordic event with Claus Meyer at the International Culinary Center. Claus Meyer, founding father of Noma and the New Nordic Cuisine Movement, shares insights from his gastronomic business and philanthropic journey including his latest ventures here in New York City, including fine dining restaurant Agern and the Great Northern Food Hall, Grand Central Terminal.
During the event you will be treated to a series of tasty bites from the Almanak pavilion at the Great Northern Food Hall, prepared by its chefs, accompanied by wine, beer, and Danish Cider, while unlocking how the New Nordic Cuisine Movement was born and continues to influence cultures throughout the world.
From writing the manifesto for the Nordic food revolution and co-creating Noma, voted the worlds best restaurant, to launching an indigenous food movement in Bolivia that has trained thousands of young people and is unlocking a new sense of national pride, hear first-hand from Claus Meyer about what motivates his passions within the industry and how he remains close to his values.
