Dinner with Friends
Dear Friends,
August's dinner was calm and cool. The weather was absolutely perfect and there was not one sign of yellow jackets. We started of a smoked trout rillettes with pickled tomatillos, and continued on with a garden tomato salad with fresh mozzarella. Then came a duck confit purse with cherries and savoy cabbage, with a main course of veal sugo and homemade pappardelle. After a Cream and the Crop cheese course we offered up a trio of desserts: raspberry and melon sorbet, chocolate pot de creme, and a coconut macaroon.
September is our second to the last dinner for the season so we are looking forward to putting out another great menu. This month is kind of an "in betweener" month for us in the garden so we looking to get creative.
So it is again with great pleasure, we invite you to join us on September 16th for another installment of Dinner with Friends. Under the shade of our giant Oak, we will serve you a six-course dinner and a welcoming libation using ingredients from local farms and our own private garden. This is a great place for a romantic dinner, a night out to make new friends, and, for those of you who have dined with us here before, to see what's new.
Remember, this event is a BYO. We invite you to bring wine and beer to accompany your meal.
We will release the menu to ticket holders five days prior to the event.

Where: A Los Gatos Home (address will be given after ticket purchase)
