BCST College Swimming Coaches Panel
Location: Bellevue Club (Ballroom)
What is it like to swim in college? Wondering if a good 200 Fly time will get you into the college of your choice? What's the difference between Division I, II and Division III athletics? Can I get a big athletic scholarship? We're hoping to start answering some of those questions . . . We've invited coaches from several universities to join us for an evening to discuss these and other questions.
Our goal is to provide information about what it means to be a college student-athlete. This event is not limited to swimmers who will be heavily recruited by big time swimming schools. It is intended to provide guidance to those who might want to swim in college and are curious about how that fits into admissions, academics, college life, etc.
Coaches from the following universities will be speaking on the panel:
Pacific Lutheran University
CalTech
Oregon State University
University of Southern California
This event is specifically geared to swimmers (and their parents) who are in 8th grade and older.
