BLACK AND BLUESTEIN
Santa Monica Playhouse Santa Monica, CA
BLACK & Bluestein St. Louis, 1963. An upscale negro scientist, Dan Black, wants to buy a home In an upscale, all-white, mostly Jewish, neighborhood from the Jewish builder, Jeff Bluestein. Jeff always tried to be a good liberal until he discovered that breaking the color barrier might break his bank account and his marriage. The mishegaas that follows results in high tension, LAUGH-OUT-LOUD comedy and an overdose of Jewish guilt.
